TJ's Newsletter

Week of January 18th, 2007

Greetings TJ’s Friends-

Have a SUPER Super Bowl Party. Without the Cowboys, the only thing making Feb 4th “super” will be great food from TJ’s. All kinds of platters: Beef Tenderloin, Veggie, Gourmet Dips, Shrimp, BBQ Brisket and more. (Just don’t let Tony Romo carry it in the house for you.)

This Valentines, Spend Your Time Making Love (Not Dinner).  See our attached Valentines Menu for caviar, lobsters, four-course “Sweetheart” meals, Valentine’s recipes and gift ideas.  Buy that special someone a private cooking class, a hand painted Vietri wall hanging or a set of German Messermeister knives.

Show Your Clients You Love Them Too. Valentines is a great opportunity to send a delicious platter to your valued clients. See the attached “Love Your Clients”…TJ’s will Hand Deliver each of your platters with a handwritten note.

Pinch Me…Is It Crawfish/Mardi Gras Season Yet? We are getting a lot of question about crawfish…this year should be a GREAT one. Right now they are still too small and dirty, but its not too early to start planning your Mardi Gras Boil (Feb 20). TJ’s consistently has the cleanest and biggest crawfish in town. Make TJ’s your Mardi Gras Headquarters in 2007:

Boil them yourself, or let TJ’s expert staff boil perfectly seasoned crawfish and then clean up your mess while you collect beads!

Jus’ Bugs (Crawfish and Seasoning)

Creole Boil (Plus red potatoes and Lemons)

Cajun Feast (Plus onions, corn-on-the-cob)

The Kingfish (Plus mushrooms, garlic cloves and andouille sausage)

And of course TJ’s is the only place to get your Etouffee, Gumbo, Blackened Seafood, Shrimp Creole, Jambalaya and other bayou treats.

TJ’s, family owned and operated since 1989, has won countless D Magazine, Dallas Observer, and Dallas Morning News awards and recognitions for fresh seafood, full service catering and “mom & pop” customer service. We are more than your fresh seafood market…we are your reliable source for fresh gourmet meats and poultry, baked goods, take out, catering, candles, dinnerware, gift baskets and more!
